The Udayapur District Cycling Association has announced the postponement of the scheduled “Kora Cycling 2024” event, originally set for september 28, 2024 saturday . This decision comes in light of the heavy rainfall currently affecting the region, with weather forecasts predicting continued rain through Sunday. The association will provide further updates as the situation develops.

A cycling event named “Kora Cycling 2024” will take place, focusing on visits and promotion of various tourist and religious sites. Organized by the Udaypur District Cycling Association, the event will commence on the 12th from Gaighat, exploring more than a dozen locations. Special emphasis will be placed on promoting the ancient Khathmandir of Triyuga Municipality. The journey will cover approximately 25 kilometers and will conclude back at Gaighat. Around 100 cyclists are expected to participate. This event, originally scheduled for the month of Bhadra, was postponed due to the rainy season

The Gaighat Bike Station is set to host its highly anticipated Monthly Race this Saturday, an event organized to nurture the skills and talent of new-generation riders. This monthly race, spearheaded by Raju Shah, the owner of Gaighat Bike Station, aims to develop local riders into future stars by providing them with an exciting platform to showcase their abilities.
The race covers a challenging 11-kilometer route, with 8 kilometers uphill and 3 kilometers on a flat surface. The event will start at the Eye Hospital and finish at “12 Numbers.” It’s an excellent opportunity for biking enthusiasts to test their endurance and enjoy the scenic beauty of Gaighat.
Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to join and experience the thrill of the race. Safety gear, including a helmet and shoes, is mandatory for all participants.

काठमाडौ कोरामा सहभागी हुन नसकेको कारण आफ्नै जिल्लामा १०० किमी को रूट तयगरी उदयपुरका युवाहरु जिल्लामा पहिलो पटक उदयपुर कोरा गर्न लागेका हुन । यो उदयपुर मा पहिलो पटक गर्न लगिएको हो । काठमाडौ कोरा लाई नेपालकै ठुलो साईकल इभेन्टको रुपमा लिने गरेको पाईन्छ।
